CrypticPitch is a music player for Jellyfin, a media server that you (or whoever runs your server) host yourself. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: we do not collect, store, or share any of your personal data.
CrypticPitch is developed by Antonio Ornelas. Questions about this policy: support@crypticpitch.com.
None. CrypticPitch has no accounts with us, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We, the developer, never receive your data.
You connect the app to a Jellyfin server that you choose. The server address, your username, and your password are used only to sign in to that server. They are stored securely on your device (in the iOS Keychain) and are sent only to the server address you entered. They are never sent to us or to any third party.
Songs, album art, playlists, and favorites are streamed from and saved to your own Jellyfin server. Any music you download for offline listening, and any cached artwork, are stored locally on your device only.
CrypticPitch does not share data with any third parties. The app talks only to the Jellyfin server you point it at. Apple may provide the developer with standard, anonymous App Store statistics (for example, total downloads), which do not identify you.
Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to delete. Everything the app stores lives on your device or on your own server. To remove the app's local data, delete the app; to remove media or account data on your server, manage it on the server itself.
CrypticPitch does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
